Cream Cheese Pound Cake

Ingredients
1 1/2 cups butter, softened
1 8-ounce package of cream cheese, softened
3 cups sugar
6 large eggs
3 cups all-purpose flour
1/8 tsp salt
1 tbsp vanilla extract

What To Do
Preheat oven to 300 degrees. Grease and flour a 10-inch bundt pan.

Using an electric mixer, beat butter and cream cheese at medium speed until creamy. Gradually add sugar, beating well. Add one egg at a time.

In a separate bowl combine flour and salt then add to cream cheese mixture in three batches, just until blended. Stir in vanilla. Pour into bundt pan.

Bake for 1-hour and 40-minutes or until a wooden spoon inserted in the center comes out clean. Cool in a pan on a wire rack 10 to 15 minutes, remove from pan and let cool completely on wire rack.

Best served with candied pecans or pureed fruit.

This looks wonderful. I can’t wait for the weather to cool a bit before running the oven. This will be the first of the things I bake as soon as the weather turns. I always appreciate tips and fresh ideas. I have a friend with a pecan tree and will definitely use your candied pecan recipe. Thanks a bunch.
