Candied Pecans

Candied Pecans

Ingredients
1 cup pecans
1 cup (plus more) sugar
**Special Tool: silicone mat or freezer paper**

What To Do
Chop up pecans into bite size pieces.

Put pecans and 1 cup sugar into a heavy skillet over medium-high heat.

Stir with a wooden spoon, and don’t leave it alone. The sugar will quickly melt (add more sugar if desired to coat the pecans)so continue to stir to prevent burning.

Once it’s done quickly pour onto freezer paper or silicone mat, be careful it’s hot. Wait until it’s cooled to break it apart.
